Tax changes in Spain

The talk today was bout changes to tax relief.
Apparently if you take out a new mortgage after January you will not get tax relief.
So, if you are thinking about buying a house it can take quite a few weeks to go through the process.

The Medieval market in Sagunto.

This was great. A bit busy , but really worth going to. It was just below the roman ampitheatre in the old part of town.

Lovely .  Nothing like a barbie at the market.

X marks the spot( or should I say cross?)

This cross is in our hills. Who put it there? Who paints it? How do you get there?
There are lots of marked walks for enthusiastic hill walkers. Some easy, some hard. ( They're the horrible red ones.) Mountain bikers just love it here.

The hammock beckons

You may have a few almonds drop on you but the dappled sun is so relaxing. Great for siesta time.
I've got pomegranates for the first time.
What about that sky?

Garden is still blooming.

I' ve decided that hibiscus are my favourite plant. I've got 5 now and they are stunning.

However, Angel's trumpet is just amazing.

Please don't buy my house.

I didn't go to the estate agents. We went to the market in Puerto de Sagunto. Bought loads of juicy tomatoes and a gorgeous melon.

This is a great market and it's on every Saturday.
